Clarksons appoints Bart Bream as new Group Chief Technology Officer

Clarksons is delighted to announce that Bart Bream has joined today as Group Chief Technology Officer. Bart will lead Clarksons’ technology strategy as the Group continues to scale and accelerate its digital capabilities.

With over 20 years of experience in the commodities and freight technology space, Bart brings a proven track record of delivering industry changing technology in fintech, energy trading, and investment banks. Bart joins Clarksons from his most recent role as CTO at VAKT, a FinTech startup backed by some of the largest players in the oil world, and prior to that from C-Level roles at Mercuria, Castleton Commodities and Morgan Stanley.

The newly created Group Chief Technology Officer role will be instrumental in strengthening Clarksons’ ability to deliver technology solutions and enhance the offer to clients.
